Branched Polyalkylene Glycol Derivative, Photosensitive Composition,Crosslinked Material, and Substrate
With using this materials as cell culture plate, human tissue cells like of skin, internal organs, and even stem cells can grow to uniformed spheroids and keep stable for long term.
The spheroids culture system is very useful for application to tissue engineering and for simulation model of vital reaction by such as screening of environmental toxic chemicals.

Abstracts Disclosed is a substrate comprising a base material and a crosslinked material arranged on the base material, wherein the crosslinked material comprises a branched polyalkylene glycol derivative having: three or more polyalkylene glycol groups each having a polymerizable substituent at the terminal; and a linkage group having a valency of 3 or more and capable of binding to the polyalkylene groups. The substrate can be patterned with a high degree of accuracy and can keep the unadhered state of a cell thereon stably for a long term.
Advantages The present invention relates to a branched polyalkylene glycol derivative, a photosensitive composition, a crosslinked material, and a substrate. The substrate can be patterned with high degree of accuracy and can keep the anadhered state of cells or spheroids thereon stably for long term.
